Web apps and SaaS

Web apps your business can run on.

SaaS products, internal tools, client portals and marketplaces, built end to end by Marian Sorca, fractional CTO and lead software engineer, who builds and runs his own AI SaaS.

(02) What we build

Products, not pages.

Five kinds of web app we build, each around the people who use it every day.

  1. 01

    SaaS platforms

Subscription products with accounts, teams and the features your customers pay for.

  2. 02

    Two-sided marketplaces

Two kinds of users, listings and search, each side with its own flows.

  3. 03

    Community platforms

Members post, vote, comment and share; you keep control of what goes live.

  4. 04

    Dashboards and admin panels

One place to see and act on your data: filters, tables, inline edits.

  5. 05

    Internal tools

The spreadsheets and copy-paste your team runs on, replaced by one tool built for the job.

AI features go in where they earn their place, not as a demo. AI for business

(03) What you get

Every build, the same standard.

We write code the next developer can work in: structured, tested and documented. It’s the standard we hold our own product to, 5,000 commits in.

  • Agreed scope and milestones before any code is written
  • The application: interface, backend and database
  • Sign-in, user roles and permissions
  • Integrations with the services and APIs it needs
  • AI features where they make sense
  • Testing, deployment and documentation
(05) Half-built?

Handed a half-finished app? That’s familiar work.

Many projects reach us after another developer or agency stopped. We read the code before we promise anything, and you get a written verdict. Then we stabilise it and finish the build.

  • Strong
  • Fragile
  • Fix first
  • Leave alone

Built it with AI? Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit or Cursor get you to a working demo fast. We take it from there: sign-in and data rules locked down, keys out of the browser, tests on the paths that make money, real hosting and backups, and documentation, so you can keep building without breaking it. From $5,000, with larger rescues usually $15,000 – $40,000.

(06) How it runs

Built in phases, priced in phases.

  1. 01Discovery and scope.

What you’re building, who it’s for, what exists today. You get a written scope and the first milestone.

  2. 02A first working milestone.

An MVP or a first slice of the product in your hands early, so decisions are made on real software.

  3. 03Phase by phase.

Each phase is scoped, priced and reviewed before the next one starts.

  4. 04Launch, and after.

Deployment, documentation and handover, then ongoing development if you want it.

The minimum engagement is $2,000. Full products are scoped and priced in phases.

(07) Under the hood

The stack, briefly.

We build on Angular, Firebase, Node.js and Google Cloud, the stack behind SelfManager.ai. AI features use OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or xAI Grok, whichever fits the job and the budget. If a different stack, or no custom app at all, suits your project better, we’ll tell you.

(10) Questions

Questions before you start.

What does a web app cost?

The minimum engagement is $2,000, for a development sprint. A custom web app starts at $5,000, a SaaS MVP at $8,000 and a marketplace at $15,000. A full product is usually $50,000 – $150,000, platforms $150,000 – $500,000+, and anything larger is priced through Enterprise. Most products are built in phases, each scoped and priced before it starts, so you never commit to the whole thing blind.

How long does it take?

A SaaS MVP takes 3–4 weeks, and a custom tool about 2 weeks. Larger products are built in phases, each with its own delivery time in the plan you get before work starts.

We built our app with AI tools. Can you make it production-ready?

Yes. We start with a short audit, then lock down sign-in and data rules, move keys out of the browser, add tests on the paths that make money, and set up real hosting, backups and deploys. Rescue and modernization starts at $5,000; larger rescues are usually $15,000 – $40,000.

Can you take over an app someone else started?

Yes. We review the code first and tell you plainly what’s worth keeping before we quote the rest.

Which technology do you use?

Usually Angular, Firebase, Node.js and Google Cloud. If another stack fits your project better, we’ll say so and explain why.

Who does the work?

Marian personally, on every project. When the work needs more hands, he brings in engineers and leads them, and every change is reviewed by a senior engineer before it ships.

What happens after launch?

30 days of free fixes, then a monthly plan or a documented handover to your own team.

Can you add AI to our app?

Yes, where it earns its place. SelfManager.ai has 14 AI features in production. See AI for business.
